João Guedes is a seasoned Portuguese surfer from Porto, widely respected in the national and international surf community for his competitive achievements and deep connection to the sea. He began surfing at a young age and went on to win the Portuguese National Surf Championship in 2009, also competing for several years on the World Qualifying Series (WQS).

Known for his love of perfect barrels and big waves, Guedes has been repeatedly chosen by surf fans to compete in elite tube‑riding events like the Capítulo Perfeito, where his experience and commitment to performance have kept him at the forefront of Portugal’s standout riders.
