HENRIQUE PYRRAIT
Henrique “Neco” Pyrrait is a Portuguese surfer from Ericeira, known both for his competitive results and his deep roots in one of Portugal’s most iconic surf towns. Born on 30 September 1997 and riding goofy, he has been active on the competitive circuit including appearances on the World Surf League’s Qualifying Series and regularly contests in domestic events, advancing through rounds at QS competitions like Pro Santa Cruz.
Locally, Pyrrait has been crowned Open Champion at the Ericeira Surf Clube circuit (ESC), securing top honours in club‑level competitions and victories in events such as the Backdoor gala stage. He’s also known for strong showings in specialty events like the Prio Softboard Heroes, where he’s competed among Portugal’s best.
Growing up in the famous Ribeira d’Ilhas lineup, Henrique blends competition with a passion for everyday surfing, embodying the Ericeira surf culture that has influenced a new generation of Portuguese riders.
