Salvador Vala is a young and promising Portuguese surfer from Carcavelos, known for his competitive success and strong performances in both national championships and specialty events. He began surfing as a child and quickly emerged as one of the standout talents of his generation becoming Portuguese National Champion in the Sub‑14 category and later Sub‑18 champion, showcasing his progression through the junior ranks.
Vala has also made waves in prestigious events like the Capítulo Perfeito, where he won the New Generation (U‑18) category and earned recognition for his skills among more experienced tube riders on his home beach at Carcavelos.
In addition to his national titles, he’s represented Portugal in international junior competition and continues to train and compete with the aim of progressing further in the sport.
