Samuel Igo is a professional Brazilian surfer from Baía da Traição, Paraíba, known for his powerful wave riding and standout competitive results on the national circuit. He grew up surfing on the northeast coast of Brazil and carries pride in his Potiguara Indigenous heritage, often using his platform to celebrate his roots and challenge stereotypes within the sport.
Igo has achieved strong results in major Brazilian competitions, including finishing vice‑champion of the Brazilian Surf Championship and delivering record‑breaking performances at events like the Saquarema Surf Festival, where he posted one of the highest scoring heats in the Circuito Banco do Brasil de Surf.
